BEING HUMAN IS TRICKY BUSINESS
The complexities of today's world demand more of us as individuals than perhaps at any time in history. Where our great-grandparents may have been asked to perform several roles with only a handful paying attention, we're expected to excel at dozens of roles, with hundreds or even thousands of strangers looking on.
Attractive, creative, ivy-league, sexy, funny, influential, entrepreneurial, socially-responsible, driven, generous, politically-correct, environmentally-conscious, healthy, feminist, vulnerable, career-oriented, spiritual, well-travelled, family-minded, and oh yeah... happy, of course, making it all look good for the 'gram,
It's a lot. And we're feeling it.
The pressure has taken some of our brightest from us - beautiful humans like Robin, Kate & Anthony, pulled under by an invisible sea. The fact is our parents, educations, cultures and religions didn't prepare us for this. How could they have? Our own biologies are still playing catch-up. We're in a new world, and it calls for a new way of seeing ourselves.
